Information for Singers 2019

Both are invited, choirs and individual singers; the singers should have studied the "Messiah" in english language.

Please bring your vocal scores and piano scores resp. of the "Messiah" in english language. Any english edition can be used; the musical instructions are subject to the Barenreiter-edition.

Dress code
Ladies in black with a colourful accessoire (scarf or similar).
Men in black suit with white shirt and coloured tie.

The following choir pieces are sung in the order of the New York performance of the Westminster Choir and the New york Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Leonard Bernstein 1956:

Musical Walk/Evening Concert in Salzburg, Friday 1st May 2020
The participating choirs present themselves - 10 min. concert program per choir.

Compulsory final piece: G.F. Händel: „Hallelujah“ from „Messiah“.
